The purpose of this Digital portfolio is to display my level of understanding of the components of an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) course at Purdue University. This E-portfolio contains 20 various, rather extensive lab projects (13 UAS and 7 ESRI Tutorials). I am a Swedish former stockbroker studying engineering in the field of geomatics in my last semester. Surveying and photogrammetry, amongst others, are subfields we have focused on a lot at my home Norwegian university. One of the reasons I decided to go to Purdue University as an exchange student, was particularly that I wanted to learn about UAS and how it can be applied to my own field of geomatics and GIS. Also, I was very interested in learning ArcGIS since I only have QGIS-experience from before. The reason I chose AT 319, is that despite UAS commonly being used in surveying, my home university has no UAS courses. With that in mind, after having learned UAS skills from Dr. Hupy, I may have an edge on the labor market.
